Happy New Year to you all. I hope you had a great Holiday Season and that 2018 brings you and yours much good health and happiness.
Over the holiday, I created a small 5x7 canvas that I thought I would share with you. I will post a picture and then take you through the process of creating it.
1-5X7 inch canvas
Acrylic Paint - I used Dylusions - Postbox Red, Fresh Lime,Vibrant Torquoise and White for the background
Glossy Photo paper
Alcohol Inks - I used reds, blues and purple
A dye cut or circle cut for an ornament
Glossy Accents (0r any good glue)
1) Create your background anyway you want. I used the Lime Green paint and covered the canvas. I sponged on some of the torquoise over the green and then some dot stamps that used with the red and white paint.
2) Take your glossy paper and drop alcohol ink all over it using various colors being careful not to muddy up the color. Let this completely dry and then using your dye cutter, or whatever you have to create and cut out some Christmas ornaments, cut your pieces out and glue to the canvas with Glossy accents. Leave to dry.
3) Using a ruler, carefully draw in your string using a black pen.
4) Edge your painting in black paint and be sure to sign it. I signed mine on the back.
I hope you like this idea. It really doesn't take long to make and it makes a lovely little gift for someone during the holidays.
