I started this tag using various colors of Neo11 Crayons.
After drying the tag, I applied a Patti Tolley Parish Mylar Stencil and sprayed the stencil with Dylushion 'London Blue" ink. Unfortunately the ink ran under the stencil (user error) and smudged the ink. I let it all dry and was about to throw it out when I thought I would try to save it.
I replaced the stencil down on the tag and proceeded to use a black gelato stick over the stencil. I smudged the gelato into the tag using my finger. When I pulled up the stencil I realized I had just saved this tag from the garbage. I had created a shadow effect by using the stencil twice. I think it turned out pretty good.
The last step was to adorn the tag with some co-ordinating ribbon. I am please with this result.
It is a simple tag and of course you can add more but I just wanted to show you how sometimes a mistake can be turned into something nice.
